what is your role at noa?
I am the founder of noa and an investor. As a member of our investment team, I specialise in sourcing and building relationships with promising founders and managing our partnerships with our portfolio companies to support them on their journey. My role extends beyond the investments: I oversee the strategy and vision of our firm, ensuring that we stay true to our mission and values along the way.
what is your backstory?
I was born in Switzerland to an Italian Argentinian mother and a French father who was born in Morocco. Growing up in the serene Swiss countryside of Lausanne, I developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives, as well as a profound passion for nature and the planet. These early experiences instilled in me a commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. I studied at HEC Lausanne and the London School of Economics, earning an MSc in Business & Finance, and later attended executive education at Harvard Business School. My professional journey began in investment banking where I spent close to a decade, before becoming an entrepreneur in real estate where I successfully built AMD. Building noa (formerly A/O) represents the culmination of decades of life experiences, ambition and challenges. It connects the dots between my background in finance, my entrepreneurial spirit, and my lifelong passion for nature and the planet.

what is your role at noa?
I am EA to Gregory and support the team in all aspects of day-to-day life at noa. I’m also involved in supporting the IR function.
what is your backstory?
I was born in London but mostly grew up in the northeast of Scotland. I took a year out after school and travelled around India, Southeast Asia, and Australia before I moved to Oxford where I completed a Business Diploma at Oxford Media and Business School. From there, I went straight into my first job as ‘PA to the CEO’ of a specialist intelligence company. This was a real baptism of fire, but a fantastic opportunity that has held me in good stead ever since. After the company was acquired and having been lucky enough to be very involved in the process, I decided I wanted to join a PE or VC fund. I moved to KKR and then a placement agent, and here I am at noa.

At noa, I split my time between deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management, and leading the firm’s ecosystem development. This includes managing strategic LP engagement, as well as building relationships with adoption partners across the built environment and co-investor VCs across the capital lifecycle. Before joining noa, I was a Manager in EY’s Transaction Real Estate Advisory group in New York City, specialising in the hospitality, leisure and commercial real estate industries as a transaction and strategy consultant. I worked with a wide range of institutional clients including real estate developers, investors, operators, lenders, startups, and governments related to transaction, operation, and growth strategy initiatives. Before EY, I received a BSc in Hotel Administration from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and graduated with a concentration in Finance and Accounting and a minor in Real Estate. I've always been interested in technology, energy, nature, real estate development, and entrepreneurship, so working at noa provides the opportunity for all my interests to converge.

what is your role at noa?
As an investment team member, I’m mostly focussed on sourcing, due diligence, and closing deals.
what is your backstory?
I began my career in strategy consulting, which is a great place to start a career, but I quickly realised that’s not where I wanted to end it. As an individual with a high appetite for risk I decided to pursue a career in VC. I quit my job in consulting and hustled my way into a Pre-Seed PropTech fund where I was on the investment team for a couple of years. I joined the noa investment team four years ago and haven’t looked back. Before all the madness, I did a Bachelor’s degree in Business at the London School of Economics and a Master’s degree in Economics at Imperial College.

what is your role at noa?
I focus on research within the investment team at noa. This predominantly includes due diligence on live deals, as well as leading our thesis building initiatives as a fund. I also spend time working with our strategic LPs and ecosystem partners.
what is your backstory?
I started out in architecture but found conventional professional practice lacking the innovation and agency required to move the needle in the built environment. To explore other avenues, I spent some time working in a venture backed real estate developer that focused on leveraging the airspace above existing buildings to increase London’s housing supply. While there, I spent time accessing government innovation grants and working with the company’s investors on strategy projects and venture fundraising rounds. This opened my eyes to the world of VC. I then took a year to study finance and subsequently joined the team at noa. I received a degree in Architecture from Cambridge University, and a Master’s in Finance from the London School of Economics.

what is your role at noa?
At noa, I split my time between deal sourcing, investment due diligence, and portfolio management. I also lead the firm’s focus on construction technology and deep tech businesses.
what is your backstory?
I started my career as a pizza delivery boy and a part-time assistant to a real estate agent before earning a degree in Psychological Science and teaching myself to code. Growing up in Sydney, Australia (where the two local obsessions are surfing and real estate), I naturally graduated and then spent several years on the investment team at a real estate fund. During my years in real estate, I never stopped writing code and I always felt the draw to technology despite loving investing, so venture capital was the obvious path.

what is your role at noa?
As an investor at noa, I spend my time sourcing and underwriting new investment opportunities. I am particularly focused on opportunities in the energy transition, mobility, and smart building technologies. I also serve as a board observer to some of our portfolio companies, lending a hand wherever and whenever needed.
what is your backstory?
I started my career in M&A advisory at EY, leaving to start a business in what I then (foolishly) believed would become a unicorn. Having learned firsthand the challenges of being an entrepreneur, I decided to switch my allegiance to the dark side and have been a VC investor since. I joined the team at noa in 2019. I have an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
