what is your role at noa?
I lead across all non-investment activity at noa, which means I wear a lot of hats - from Strategy and Operations to Platform and People.
what is your backstory?
Before joining noa, I was Finance Partner at LocalGlobe & Latitude Ventures. Before that, I built out the Corporate Venture program at News UK. I’ve got a multi-disciplinary background having worked across Venture, Management Consulting, Business Transformation, Finance, and Strategy; within large blue-chip corporates and founder led tech startups & scaleups. I started off my career at KPMG, having read Philosophy, Politics & Economics at the University of Warwick.
what excites you about built world tech?
I think the built world is probably the single most important, non-organic aspect of our lives that we don’t talk enough about. It effects our quality of life in every way, how our societies function and for me a reflection of our collective spirit. Not to mention it’s driving 40% of GHG emissions! Any tech that can improve this is inherently exciting.
what do you like to do in your spare time?
Outside of spending time with my family, you can find me playing sports or reading philosophy.
what’s your favourite city and why?
Tough question! Going to have to say London - I'm heavily biased as I was born, raised and have spent most my time in London. It’s an open-to-all microcosm of the world, a home away from home where you are never far from food, culture, history and finding your own tribe or joining a new one.
